drawings of the exercising body
Extension is a major series of drawings of the exercising human body, forming my first solo exhibition. This was held at Flinders Medical Centre Promenade Gallery B from 29 March – 22 May, 2011.
Extension is about the beauty and mystery of the human form. It is about health and wellbeing, about strength and frailty. Extension is about a collaboration, in fitness and in art. It is about my development as an artist, my experimentation with drawing. Extension is a story about a year in my life.
